Commercial Loan Officer

Present the bank in a positive manner to encourage loan growth, solicit new customers, selling loan, deposit and fee-based products and services.  This person also services an existing commercial loan portfolio, promoting and cross-selling products and services.


  • Maintain goodwill with customers and prospects
  • Enhance the bank's profitability through a combination of loan pricing and initiating new banking transactions (primarily deposits)
  • Review loan documentation to prepare for loan closings
  • Review loan presentations for bi-monthly loan committee meetings
  • Manage an assigned commercial loan portfolio
  • Ensure that loans are closed in a time frame consistent with customers' expectations, with particular attention to matured notes
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience Required

  • 6-8 years related job experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously
  • Good attention to detail and confident ability to make decisions
  • Ability to work independently

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
